Learning Skills Together (LST)

Are you providing care to a relative who has Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia?

Researchers at Case Western are testing an online program to help increase caregiver confidence and reduce caregiver stress. The 6-week program is conducted over Zoom and is made available free of charge due to funding from the National Institute on Aging (NIA).

Participation is virtual, so you can participate from the comfort of your own home.

Participation involves:

- a screening appointment on Zoom to determine eligibility
- once weekly Zoom discussions for 6 weeks
- review the supplied workbook
- three post intervention surveys via Zoom

You likely qualify if:

- you are 18 years or older
- be a family member to an individual who is living with Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia
- provide assistance with at least two instrumental activities of daily living or one activity of daily living
- Speak and understand English
