Are you experiencing problems with your memory?

Researchers throughout the country, in collaboration with Columbia University, are investigating the FDA-approved treatment metformin and its relationship with memory.

You may be eligible if:

- You are between the ages of 55 and 90.
- Have a diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or are experiencing memory changes
- Do not have a history of diabetes
- Have a study buddy who can attend all study visits with you
- Are willing to travel to one of the study sites for screening and study visits (Georgetown University, Boston University, University of Texas Southwestern, Eastern Virginia Medical School)

You may not be eligible if:
- You are taking metformin
- Have a history of diabetes
- Have a diagnosis of dementia
